halter bridles/bits
My horse didn't like the floppy bit
routine either. So I just used a
small piece of rope with 2 small
snaps on each end. It's sized the
same as his normal headstall. I
attach the rope/snaps to the bit
hangers and put the makeshift bridle
on over the halter/bridle like a
normal headstall. Then attach the
bit hangers to the halter/bridle
without danger of the bit falling
out and put your small piece of
rope/snaps into your pocket for
later usage at the vet checks or
whenever. Hope this helps...
