Pony Needs Rider at Mt. Charleston

I plan to ride the the 75 miler at the Mt. Charleston Ride near Las Vegas 
this upcoming Saturday on my Icelandic, Remington.  I would like to take 
Rem's stablemate, Skjoldur, too if I can find a rider for him.  Skjoldur is 
exceedingly smooth, even for an Icelandic.  He is stronger than Remington and 
has better recoveries.  He has completed nine rides, mostly multi-days.  No 
pulls.  He has carried four different riders at these rides,  from 
featherweight to heavyweight.  His last ride was the Lakeside Classic 50 in 
April which he completed with a heavyweight rider over relatively difficult 
terrain.  He completed all five days of the Fall XP before that.  Skjoldur is 
a gorgeous palomino pinto.  He is fun to ride but very safe. I know many 
riders wouldn't be caught dead on a pony,  but at 13.3 hh and 825 lbs. he 
doesn't look particularly tiny.  I have two different saddles available which 
fit him, one a custom Albion for a junior or small woman and the other an 
Astund from Iceland for anybody else.  He will want to stay with Remington 
the whole way which ensures hours of scintillating conversation with me.  I 
will be glad to sponsor a junior who is willing to go this far.  I will pay 
the entry fee.
