ISO companion horse
Looks like I gambled and lost on my ancient horse buddy given me last
winter. He's now completely blind, banging into things, can't go out to
pasture as a result...and obviously miserable. Euthanasia is scheduled with
burial on his farm of origin...so I'm looking for a replacement. Anyone
want to find a retirement home for a senior citizen? My requirements:
personality first--must be an inoffensive type who won't be evil to the
little horses, then reasonably sound so he can accompany the gang to the
pasture. I'll have teeth floated, vet exam, vaccines etc if not already
done. Coggins should be done already. Prefer a medium size gelding between
13 and 15 hands or so, but that's negotiable. I have references for my
horsekeeping practices if you have references for your horse!
I'm in southwest Virginia and will travel a reasonable distance to see/fetch
the right candidate. Email me and let's chat.
