Re: RC: Carrying (using) a crop
Hi, it's me again. Thanks for all the responses on EKG gel.
I carry a crop all the time. My mare is new (20 miles on her) on trail and if
there is something she's afraid of like a horse eating bridge or a newly cut
tree and she doesn't really want to go forward, just a small tap on her
shoulder lets her know it's ok to go forward. Works every time. I also use
it, small taps, when another horse is passing in the arena and she pins her
ears or if she's getting a little pissy on me when working. I don't have to
use it everytime I ride. She respects it. Deb and Sha Gay (I know there are
horse eating trolls under those bridges!)
