Great old mare's story
1981 Purebred Arabian mare, grey 14.2+H, "Shanobi" (Beaus Ya Habibti,
AHRA#228322). Tut, Sotep, lots of Raffles. Excellent conformation. Easy
load, bath, clip, shoe, parade, etc. Great for experienced kids. You can
vault up bareback and ride her with just her halter.
Rescued; what a story. She was in horrible condition when I got her but is
recovering well, packing on weight, and solid sound. Had been
street-raced and rented out. The dealer and then someone else who
recognized her while at the
sale said she was a very fast horse and won a lot of money before her rider
rode in front of a car and she took it on the shoulder-which didn't break
any bones but almost killed the mare anyway. That was almost a year ago
according to the dealer.
3 progeny on record. Make offer by 5/31/99 and provide 4 references: vet,
farrier, horsedentist, fellow horseperson. A good, tough, kind mare that
comes to you. Photos upon request. In SE PA.
