That is a pretty short turn around, but do-able if your horse is fit, sound
and experienced. I would not plan on doing much of anything in the two week
interim. He should be turned out 24 hours a day if possible, and in a big
field with other horses so he moves around. I would ride maybe 3 times
between the rides, once toward the end of the first week and twice the
second week, but all rides should be "strolls" 4 -5 miles of almost all
walking. It helps if you have a spare horse to ride yourself, so you stay
fit and happy. Most off all, let him tell you if it is okay. If he sails
thru the 80 still looking for more you are probably fine for a 25 two weeks
later.
