Hi Truman,
This could be a solution for me because I have the same problem; what I did is cutting the 2 inch biothine leathers and profiling them like a concave curve; my problem was more the fact that the stirrup where going in the inside all the time and I became sore after a long time in the saddle.
But question with those biothane 1 inch leathers ... What about the buckle ? Are you using a standard 'english' buckle and if yes where do you put it (on the botton, near the stirrup ? because there is no way to put in on the top like on the english saddles).
