Yes, I thought that they worked.  I had a mare "Myy Hyy Starr" that got what 
you call road founder rings every time I raced her.  Tried the shock tamers 
and it seem to stop the rings.  She had ring bone that never did bother her 
(lameness) and this was what seem to make the rings possible on her.  Starr 
never was lame, but 3 yrs ago I lost her by turning her out in an arena, and 
she broke her fetlock without hope of repair. :(
