Trucks

Speaking of trucks - I sent a post awhile back asking people about 
mileage with their 3/4 ton trucks.  I received 10 responses - 7 from 
Dodge owners, and 3 from Ford owners. (Aren't there any new 3/4 ton
Fords out there?) The Dodges were all newer ranging from 92 to 99, and 
one was gas.  The Fords were from '78,'89,and about '97 with 1 diesel.
The Dodge diesels unloaded were about 18 to 20 mpg.
Loaded, about 15-16 mpg.
The older Fords where gas hogs at about 9 mpg - hauling or not!
The Ford diesel ranged with the Dodge diesel.
