If you start giving more points to smaller horses for carrying a higher
percentage of body weight, then there's another strike against the
non-Arab breeds, and it would get rid of any advantage for most of the
heavier riders since they tend to ride larger horses...  Wouldn't hurt me
much.

The Welsh Pony Society started a distance program I heard.  Maybe they
should keep points for a pony division...I'll let my girls race you in a
year or two.
