Breed your mare to a stallion that compliments her conformationally. If
she needs a longer neck, longer hip, etc, breed her to a horse that will
sire those qualities...from lines that consistantly produce that.
Personally, I prefer the Russian lines.
As for "endurance pedigree" there are just way too many factors involved in
racing to have such a thing, but there are types of horses that are
conformationally better suited than others. There are horses that have
done very well in racing that I wouldn't breed anything to, and others that
have never raced that are excellent.
