Re: Flax seed
I haven't looked this up, but my understanding is that growth/shedding of
hair is in response to shorter/longer days and release of serotonin,
melatonin, one of those hormones from the hypothalamus (excuse for not being
very accurate here, it's early)---that being the case, adding something to
the feed isn't going to affect the rate of shedding. Unfortunately, lots of
grooming and rubbing is still probably going to be the best bet.
