City Slickers Ride in Memphis

Is anyone going to the City Slickers Ride in Memphis?  I live about 8 miles 
from the park where it will be held.  If anyone has questions on how to get 
to the park or just around Memphis I will be glad to answer them.

It is an easy ride.  The terrain is not challenging at all.  Dodging church 
groups playing soccer and picnicing might be though!  It is an urban park.  
It used to be part of the penal farm and way out in the country, but the city 
grew out to it and took it over.  

There is an Equestrian Alliance that works to make the park more open to 
horses.  They are putting in a cross country coarse and trying to get the 
county to let them put in more trails.

I hope some Ridecampers will be there.

This will be my first ride since 1993.  I am very excited and full of 
butterflies.
