For those who don't like using the rope halters on horses that pull back,
I have to recommend Teddy's nylon halters (http://www.runningbear.com).
This Christmas I gave one to a friend who rides a horse that sets back
really hard and quite often, and by God that halter from Teddy has
withstood some incredible force without showing any wear. I've seen other
halters at my barn break under much less stress than this one!
