I have bought and sold used equipment through Inet connections, and have
always shipped the stuff out COD (either UPS or Priority Mail, not that
expensive really, about $18 for a saddle, I think) so there's no chance of
misunderstanding or hurt feelings, no one is risking much, etc.

The only thing I can say there is that IME endurance folks are good people
and won't screw you, especially if you "know" them from Ridecamp or some
other forum where their reputations are potentially at stake. You are of
course taking a risk, but a slight one, I think.
