Dogs and kids

No Flames!!!! Hurrah, hurrah!!!! Kids can be WORSE than dogs!!!! Especially
since they have parents who would not hesitate to sue you because their brat got
bitten or kicked when he was un-attanded and allowed to roam whereever.

I, too, have nothing against kids...just the parents who can't teach them any
better than many folks teach dogs.

I am delighted to allow a polite kid who asks first to walk my dog. My dog loves
the attention, I have more time to do MY thing, and the kid feels important.

BTW, we have several rides out our way where everyone lets their dogs run lose all
weekend. They all know each other and have a blast...our horses are as used to
dogs as they are kids...running, screaming, barking and playing. These are a few
special rides where we all know each other and we all make sure our "kids" behave
or get tied up (both kinds).
