Re: Fwd: RC: Dogs at Rides
OK, I'll admit it---we do bring our three dogs (no, they weren't the three
running around the vet check at Geo). Why, because it's either that or stay
home. Not at EVERY ride, but on many, many occasions I've called and asked
a RM specifically and 99% of the time, the response has been fine, just keep
'em under control. Which we do---our dogs spend the weekend in the trailer
or in the living quarters or in the truck. No barking, no running around
loose, no peeing anywhere they shouldn't be. There are a few rides where
the RM says uh-uh, absolutely don't bring 'em, and then we don't, even if
that means staying home ourselves.
I don't randomly think that rules don't apply to us, but I do believe that
if you communicate and act responsibly and have a reputation for generally
acting like a grown-up, virtually every problem can be solved to the
satisfaction of everyone.
OK, let the flames begin.
