Another classic "no-no" is arriving at a gate that needs opening, and when one
rider dismounts to open and close the gate for all others, they all ride off
and leave the one on the ground to close the gate, and attempt to remount an
upset horse that is being left by the others.  This is definitely a serious
breach of sportsmanship, and grounds for murder.
I don't recommend it.
