Ohhhh good - an expert!

This was how I expected breaching to work, which isn't what I want.

Unfortunately, some of the hills I regularly ride are **really** steep,
and when the saddle slides, the crupper hardware digs into the top of
her croup. It's uncomfortable enough that she bucks - and bucks hard!!
I've got a good seat, but at this angle? I want to avoid a rodeo if we
can ;*).
Perhaps we need to investigate buying a super cushy crupper... The one I
use is biothane, and has the typical snap for the loop that goes around
the tail. Everything about it seems to bother her on the few occasions
when it's needed, particularly the 3-way junction where the snap is.
It's loose going flat, and even on gentle hills.
Any ideas about where to get a great crupper?
