OK, I wasn't going to ever mention this, but I gotta tell you what my
husband said to me at convention.  We were all inside at some talk or
another and David whispered to me that there sure were an awful lot of
"older" folks here...and they don't actually *ride* endurance, do they?  I
got a case of the giggles and then started reeling off the mileage of some
of these poor elderly, frail folks and also told him I started at the same
time at rides as the rest of them, but by the time of the first vet check,
their departing dust has long since settled and I'm not even in the same zip
code anymore. :-)
