Glenda,

I was wondering if your hiking boots might be the problem for that second or
two hangup.  I ride in hiking boots sometimes, too, and I am very conscious of
the treads on the soles.  The boot treads may be grabbing the padding on your
stirrup and not letting you fall clear.  A smoother sole might be considered.
Just a thought.
