What to do with your ribbons

Ah... You haven't met up with the need to store so many ribbons in the
(pick one): Attic, garage, barn, basement - that you don't know what to do
with them all. (I think that's why I always offer useable awards to the
riders - sponges, water bottles, hoof picks.)
Here are some light-hearted suggestions for big, longtime ribbon collectors:
Make a quilt. Most ribbons are quite bright and already are small snips of
fabric. No real cutting needed
Make doillies - I usually give up on domestic things like quilts and all I
have left is a doillie-sized item. Besides, I needed to go ride.
Napkins - they're great after the ride to mop up that chili or stew you just
spilled on your new riding tights.
Cat toys - tie one on the end of a lounge line & see what fun you can have.
Curtains - hang enough in the tack room window and it will block sunlight
from damaging your leather saddles.
Identify your truck in the parking lot - tie a ribbon on the antenna.
Wear it on your lapel at the next political convention you attend. Who
knows, you may look so important that they'll nominate you for something!
If it's red, tie it on the tail of your kicker for ID
If it's yellow, tie it on the tail of you stallion for ID
If it's green, tie it on the tail of your green, beginner trail horse for
ID. (Kind of like a "Student Driver" sign.)
Make a patchwork jacket.
Hang them all up at once, take a picture to display, and box the rest
Donate them to the 4H group near you - save their money in buying ribbons.
for the season.
Uh, I still have some more ribbons! Any ideas?
