Re: RC:  helmet colors
I have a purple helmet and I haven't noticed any heat build up while I
ride. When I get off and walk/jog beside my horses I often take my
helmet off as it is cooler and more comfortable for me. If I was
concerned about heat I would buy a white helmet. It is a known fact that
white is cooler then darker colors for a lot of things (clothes, cars,
horses; ever notice that white hair on a horse, especially a pinto
colored horse, is more thicker then the darker haired areas) so I would
think that it would include helmets.
