Different strokes for different folks.  I think that your on the right
track.  Do what you like.  Who cares what anyone says.  It makes no
difference whether you are doing endurance or LD.  I started at 25 and my
horse made me do more!  He's an great buddy and I don't care where I finish
as long as I'm out there on the trail sharing the miles with him and the
thing I love to do most.  It makes no difference whether I ride him 25 miles
or 100 miles I treasure every mile of our friendship.
