Chuck Beebe

Chuck Beebe will me missed as an endurance rider and trails advocate. He
worked tirelessly in Santa Cruz for the establishment of horse trails.
He was one of the principle movers on getting the Pogonip City Park
opened for horses, and has been working on creating a massive loop trail
through Henry Cowell State Park, Wilder Ranch Park, UCSC, Pogonip,
Graywhale Park and connecting with the Fall Creek Park. It is almost
completed! More recently he has moved the Wilder State Park people to
consider and now agree to the esblishment of a horse staging area at the
old Baldwin Ranch down in the coulee instead of  the one on the exposed,
wind blown bluff at Dimeo Lane.

He and Vivan have given countless hours to the Fireworks 50 Endurance
Ride and the Santa Cruz County Horsemens Association.

What will we do without you Chuck? We all should be glad that we got to
speak with him recently at the AERC convention in Reno.
