We have a lady in the SE who rides in 25's on a small (under 12 hands)
chunky pony named Comet with a bareback pad and no stirrups. She's been
competing on him for years, with a 100% completion rate.
I talked to her about it once. She said she's got some horses at home,
but none of THEM are really endurance material. :-)
