Re: cold weather boots
I can certainly understand that boots capable of keeping my toes warm in
Maryland might not be sufficient in Canada.
Other than that, I don't know why my experience with Miller's Warmtoes has
been so different. Our winters seem to alternate between frozen solid and
ankle-deep in mud. My boots are going into their third winter, with no
sign of cracking or other damage -- and I must admit I do little more to
care for them than to knock off the big chunks of mud or snow.
BTW, why is it that I am so compulsive about cleaning my horse's tack,
saddle, pad, etc. and take absolutely no care of my boots? One of life's
mysteries. :D
