Donna Jackson's condition
For those of you who were asking about Donna Jackson's condition after
hitting a dump truck with her rig, here's a post from Betsy Gilman about
her:
Well, I spoke with Donna today. I found her at Kennestone Hospital in
Kennesaw. She was taken there by ambulance from UT and spent the first 2
days in X-Ray and CAT scans...she had surgery the other day putting a
plate on the 2 fractures on either side of the bone below her knee
joint...and a bone graft. Her wrist is also messed up. She isn't
drugged up because they want her to use a walker to get her up some and
the meds were making her dizzy. She says she hopes to go home sometime
next week. She seemed like she liked the calls. Someone came in as I was
talking to her so I hung up so she could visit. She said the food was
horrible at the hospital but Craig and her mother were bringing her good
food (her diet isn't restricted).
