Re: trailering long distances
We try to let our horses out every four hours or so. They usually won't drink
unless they are out of the trailer. They also can get respiratory problems
from going so long without being able to get their heads down. They can't
clear their respiratory passages with their heads up. That's why they snort
so much when they first get out of the trailer.
