Re: Camelbacks
Camelbacks are wonderful devices and can be frozen if so desired. Do so
with mine frequently. I haven't had any problem with mine bouncing when
I've used it; but mine has the extra cross chest strap on it. I've
found that it is the best way to carry water and be able to drink it as
I ride (or hike) without having to get into a pouch, get a canteen out,
drink and replace it back into the pouch. No wasted time and I am able
to drink whenever I want, which keeps hydration problems down. Also use
it when I am out with my SAR team on a search. Best way I have found to
carry water in the field.
