Bruise & Foot Soreness
>>Is there something better than warm water and epsom salts to get
>>soreness
>>(bruise) out of a horses foot?
Ask your Vet about Arquel, which is Meclofenamic Acid. We have had good
success using it to improve sore and bruised feet. It is a granular
product that top dresses on grain, is very palatable, and its
anti-inflammatory properties go directly to the foot. It can be given at
one dose a day for 10 days or two feedings a day for 5 days, depending on
the weight of your horse. As with any drug, it is a good idea to
discontinue use about a week before a ride.
