I find it easier to tell if ANY horse has a gait irregularity at the walk
than I do at the trot...especially if I am riding it.

However, "gait irregularity" and "lameness" are not necessarily the same
thing...and I STILL haven't figured out how to tell whether a horse with a
gait irregularity is lame.
