Re: electrolytes at home
For those of you having problems with hydration in the heat, here's an
interesting article to read about the ergogenic aid, glycerol.  I don't
know how it would work on horses, but getting them to down it might not be
a problem at since it's very sweet tasting.  Has anyone tried this yet? 
I've bought a bottle and am going to try it in my own running training in
the desert.  I'll let you know how it works and if I run into any problems.
