Preference at veterinary checkpoints
There is no other explanation required as to why horses doing longer
distances are vetted through prior to those entered in the shorter mileage
than the health, safety and welfare of the horse comes first. The human
factor is not an issue; unless, of course,
the rider has neglected what should be the #1 rule in that the horse must
always
come first. Somehow, our horses find it easier to leave their egos at
home.
