MSM is methylsulfylmethane--or something to that effect. A pure chemical that,
like DMSO (dimethylsulfoxide), is a biproduct of the paper-making industry. It
has an anti-inflammatory effect, especially when dealing with sore muscles.
Some authorities have suggested to me that it might help prevent ulcers as
well.
