Hi Lauren - I wonder if yours is also the cotton/hemp blend?  Does
it look like a fine twill fabric?  The other one I mentioned looks like
a nubby cotton canvas (it is actually a cotton/poly blend but it
does look, act like all cotton).  That one doesn't slip *at all*.
I use them with a Sports Saddle, no slipping at all with the
nubbier one.  The cotton/hemp blend even looks and feels
kind of slippery.  I had wondered before I got that one about
people mentioning that the pad slipped as I didn't have that
problem - now I understand!  I also have a Skito pad with the
nubby cotton/poly cover for my Stubben.  No problems there
either.
So, I would recommend the cotton/poly top.
