Heidi, I read your post and could relate to it. The one and only time my
horse ever had a metabolic problem at a ride was the spring he had been
on Strongid-C. His gut started to shut down (really unusual for him) & he
looked pretty dull, so we pulled half way through the Old Dominion 50. He
recovered and was fine, but it was a bizarre thing for him and the wormer
was the only thing we could think of that was different.
