Lunging up and coming..
For ground work, you can
>lunge him
>or take him for walks. Hey, you'll get exercise too. Good luck.
Lunging and roundpen work put torque on those joints. Be careful. Had a
friend who started an unbroken 5 year old year before last. The fellow
who'd raised him was roundpen happy. She did 4 50's on him and started
having lameness problems. The vet diagnosed arthritis. She recently
gave the horse away due to arthritic problems in a front fetlock...I
wouldn't be surprised if his extensive time in the roundpen didn't
contribute.
