There were no men on our squad or on the Australian squad. Considering the
fact that I saw women in the UAE in such posts as customs officials and
airport security guards, and the fact that there were plenty of women on the
UAE support crew, working for the organizing committee in responsible
positions, etc., I don't find the all-male makeup of their squad any more
strange than the all-female makeup of ours.
