It seems that there are 2 separate problems here.  One is the "Back the Home
Team, Boo the Rest," which can be sort of laughed off.  The other is the basic
belief that a woman should not be participating in such an activity, perhaps
not even seen out in public in shorts.  This definitely does need to be
discussed with the membership as a whole.  When there are women competing on
the Arab teams may be a better time to go back to that desert for another
race.
