Re: Horse Kicking
Julie: This may not help you at all, but my two kids each had two different
horses/ponies over the years. All four would kick on the trail at another
horse. We tied a red ribbon and verbally warned others of the horse's
habit/problem. Everyone stayed away after that. At the horse shows, NONE of
these horses kicked, even one very bad pony that would move 10 feet to get
"into range", wouldnot kick at a show! During Team Pennings, this same pony
would stand "parked" at the rail, totally crowded by strange horses and would
not kick or get upset! Don't know why they were like this, but we never had a
problem away from home or home trails!
