This is SCARY, Teddy - we're thinking alike.  I posted a message along the same
lines just a little while ago.

Endurance has been such a solitary endeavor in the USA that I'm sure that there
is a transition for the FEI riders on the team.  It's really too bad that they
don't have the opportunity to be a team for a longer period & possibly compete
together at some FEI rides (as a team) before going for the gold.  It would
help everyone to develop the strenghts (& minimize the weakness) of each
member.
