1) does anyone out there deal with leasing horses? If so, what is the
normal arrangement? What about lease w/purchase option? Anyone have a
horse they would be interested in leasing until my horse is ready next
summer (LD which I really don't like, would rather just ride at home and
save the money) or the following summer (when he can start doing
multi-days which I really like)?

2) Friend of mine has a horse that was diagnosed with a curb injury.
Back side of hock swelling just below the point. Is this an injury that
will continue to recur? Will horse every be able to do more that just
pleasure? This is the second time in this spot, probably kicked side of
stall. This time the leg swelled all the way from the fetlock to the
hip, and has since reduced to about the size of an egg. Any
suggestions?
