We all talk about temperment, but she is outstanding. Calm, gentle, thinking,
with the smoothest & fastest trot you will ever ride. Her head is not
"classic", but she is breathtaking from front on. Large, warm eyes. Mane &
tail silver white & thick, flea bitten body. Fluid mover, very naturally
collected.
My reason for selling her. After almost 5 years, & every vitamin, additive,
vet, shoe, shoer, etc. We've had zero results with hoof growth. Though three
of her feet are black, they are 00, slow growing, & have thin walls on the
sides. With the stress of endurance, she continues to develop cracks parallel
to the coronary band. Toes are good, heels are good, balance is good. We
have had radiographs done, no problems. Good bone 6 1/2+" cannons, & very
straight legs.
Possibly a drier state would help her. At endurance she can be easily rated,
but is very competitive, always looking for the horses ahead, & never quits.
She eats, drinks, maintains her body weight, & is smart enough to take care of
herself well. At 4 & 5 she competed at CTR & always finished in the top five,
taking first on many occassion's.
My goal is endurance, & sadly Jas's feet can't seem to handle it. I would
appreciate everyone's help in finding her a great home.
