Hi Trish,
I cut down on the hazards by having one of my vets do vaccinations
while Jakar is having his annual physical every spring. I feel better
having them check him out before we begin more intense training. Also,
any severe reactions can be treated on the spot and the vets know how to
resusitate a horse in cardiac arrest. (That happens sometimes...not to
me so far, but it happens.) Jakar needs close monitoring of those
sarcoids too, so I'm happy to pay for my own peace of mind.
Unfortunately, he needs surgery again this year and it'll be after the
first frost. The Nomagen injections didn't work.

& Jakar -OH NO! Not that again!! I'm losing my patience with those vet
guys!
