Aluminum is really the best buy..they sure keep their value and you will love
the "no-rust" feature. They really aren't any lighter. And, many of the big
name manufacturers are offering very good terms (up to 15 years on new
trailers0 making them affordable for many more people than before. If you
still decide on steel..I would recomend buying one from a manufactuer who
also makes steel. There are good and bad steel trailers out there...so check
mfg. warranty and compare features as well as price. I got a slant load
seven wide with mangers. I found the mangers to be a VERY welcome place to
store many things....extra propane tanks, tool boxes, water buckets, dog
food, hoses, etc...AND, with them, I can leave my drop windows open in warm
weather and my horses cannot stick their heads out further than their
noses!!!

Good luck and happy hunting...
