This from Dr. Jacques Vezina, m.v. , Montreal

Dear Tom,

In my opinion and after consultation with a veterinary teacher in anatomy, we
think it is impossible to have a rotation at the carpus because there is to
many ligaments to stabilise this joint. (Note: Jacques normally speaks and
writes French, so there is the occasional bump in syntax in his English
communications.)

Maybe what that guy described as a carpal rotation is in fact an angular limb
deformity (in foal), what we call "carpal vagus deformity" The carpus is the
site of the lesion and the limb distal to this joint (the third metacarpal
bone, is deviated away from the midline of the body.) This deformity is to to
asynchronous longitudinal growth. There is a surgical treatment for that
condition.

I think this "alternative " vet traitemant is a hoax, they don't know what
they are talking about.

I hope you are in good shape,

Dr. Jacques Vezina, m.v.
