I have been reading all the posts regarding alfalfa & grass hay. I was
wondering if anyone had any nutritional informatin about barley hay or
oat/barley mix. I live in the desert and alfalfa is what is available
and after reading your posts I am concerned about the 100% (because that
is what is available now) alfalfa diet my horses are on. In the summer
we have acess to barley and oat/barley mix and some very limited acess
to Burmuda (I have to drive 3 hours to get it). Do you all have any
advice. Maybe pellets???
