I just bought a Sharon Saare and had the same problem with it that you
described in your post. (Too wide for me). Stirrups are hung OK though.
I think she's changed that part of her design. Hung them further back.
I'm wondering how that seat saver made it better? Can you explain? Seems
to me that would make it wider.
Anyway, I told Sharon the other day that I was having a problem. I'm going
to trade my saddle in for another one. She has several manufacturers, so
some saddles work up a little narrower in the seat than others. I'm going
to try out one of hers from another mfg. But, if that's not OK, we're
going to custom fit (rasp down) a tree to fit my rear, then send it out to
be built.
I was really disappointed in the fit for me. But, really satisfied, so far
with Sharon's willingness to help fix the problem.
I've been trying to fit this mare since 1990. Will it ever end?
