As far as stocked up legs go I would like to put in my two cents worth.
After a ride, if the horse is confined in a box stall the likelyhood of a
horse stocking up is much greater than a horse that is aloud to walk around
in a pasture. Also, if it is hot, the horse will also stock up much for than
a horse in a cold climate. If the so called
" swelling " doesn't cause the horse have a change in his/her stride it
should not be a concern.

Also, the amount of swelling depends on the horse, I once new a horse who's
legs would stock up so much that is legs were the size of footballs ( yes,
thats how big around they were ) !!!!!! Once he got out of his stall and
started to work he was fine, never, ever came up lame. SO... if your horse is
sound I wouldn't worry about it. Sometimes a good hosing, or a linament rub
down will help more than you know!!

This is just my opion, and maybe this will help answer your question.
